Personalized Learning Environment
HOW WE DO IT:
Our class time is broken into 3 sections .This provides us with multiple ways for our students to learn in the classroom.
- Center 1 : Instruction
During this time we provide direct instruction to students on the current unit they are learning. Discussions, explanations, and practice on new material happens during this time.
- Center 2 : Independent
Here students are given time to work on skills they need to enhance. Those areas are determined through monthly STAR assessments. Each student has a folder with designated materials to work on.
- Center 3 : Technology
Finally, students use this time to access math related material via the internet. Online games, media, or teacher developed activities are regularly assigned during this time period.

What can parents, and family, do to help?
Mr. Mather and Mr. Marsh work extremely hard to ensure our students get the most out of their time here with us at the CORE program. Below you will find the topic we are currently covering and a link to the lesson that is being taught. Also, the website can be used to find additional material for your child to practice their math abilities. We strongly encourage all of our parents to take advantage of these resources in order to enhance your child's education.
